Enquiries and contact

The contact form prepares a draft on your device. It does not automatically send its contents to our servers or save them in this website’s storage. To send it, you must open your email app and confirm sending there.

If you write to us, we will process your name, email address and the information you provide to respond to and manage your enquiry. The legal basis is taking pre-contractual steps when you request a service; for other enquiries, it is our legitimate interest in responding to communications addressed to us. We will not use an enquiry to sign you up for advertising.

Providing data is voluntary, but we need contact details and sufficient information to respond. Please do not include medical data or unnecessary sensitive information.

Subscriptions through this website remain temporarily disabled while we complete setup.

Once available, you may separately request news about Blue Quest explorations, activities and offers. We will use your email address with your consent, which you may withdraw free of charge using the unsubscribe option in our messages or by writing to us. Subscribing will not be necessary to browse the website or contact us.

Browsing and service providers

Vercel hosts the website and may process technical connection data, such as IP address, browser and requests, to provide and protect the service. Website security is based on the legitimate interest in preventing abuse and incidents.

Hosting, email and, once activated, newsletter providers may access the information necessary for their role. Authorities may also receive data where there is a legal obligation. We do not sell contact data.

The website does not include its own advertising or analytics tools or store contact fields in cookies. Providers may use technical mechanisms for security and operation. The Brevo form is not loaded while subscriptions are disabled.

Data retention

We retain enquiries while handling them and, afterwards, only as necessary to meet obligations or address potential liabilities during the applicable periods, with restricted access. Technical data is retained according to the service’s operational and security needs.

Once the newsletter is activated, we will maintain your subscription until you withdraw consent or unsubscribe. A minimal record may be retained to honour your unsubscribe request and demonstrate compliance with our obligations, without using it for further mailings.

Your rights

You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction and, where applicable, portability of your data, or object to processing, by emailing info@bqexplore.com with details of your request. If necessary, we will ask for the minimum information needed to verify your identity.
